During the consultation, measurements are taken in the patient’s entire mouth to determine the degree of infection.
When the gums are too severely affected, the teeth lose their bone support and their anchor. In the case of loose teeth, the teeth that cannot be preserved will be extracted and replaced by a prosthesis, a bridge or a dental implant.
The teeth that remain need to be taken care of as soon as possible by regular scaling and close follow-ups.
