Teeth whitening products in drugstore use the same materials as medical whitening except with lower concentrationsThese treatments are recommended for the non-smoking patients with relatively white teeth. They might be the cheapest treatments but not the most effective ones.

The home whitening gel are personalized individual trays, allowing a more         secure and efficient     application of the hydrogen peroxide gel with concentrations ranging from 9% to 22%. These treatments are intended to non-smoking patients wanting to whiten their smile. It is also available for the smokers if they withhold smoking for the treatment period.

These treatments are made under the supervision of a dentist. Generally, we notice great results. These treatments are more expensive (Mdex $450) than those in drugstores. The choice of the therapy relies on the starting shade of the teeth rather than the cost of the treatment, since each treatment responds to a different degree of efficiency.

On chair clinical teeth whitening have the same efficiency as the trays method. The difference between both is the duration of the treatment. It is the ideal treatment for smokers, since they only have to withhold for one day. The whitening process is completed within one clinical session of 2 hours, rather than two weeks, as seen with the trays method.
