INVISALIGN - How does it work?
The patient consults a dentist or a orthodontist certified INVISALIGN for an initial examination, photographs, x-rays, impressions and measurements in order to determine the treatment plan, the objectives and the limits. After the diagnostic and a treatment plan, the dentist forwards a orthodontic prescription, the photographs and x-rays to ALIGN TECHNOLOGY laboratories.
At ALIGN, a 3D model of the teeth is carried out starting from the impressions, photographs and x-rays. Then, according to the prescription of the doctor, a simulation of the dental movements is carried out to achieve the laid down goals. Following this simulation, the doctor receives a 3D simulation named CLINCHECK. The dentist can then check the treatment prescribed and, if needed, ask for the necessary corrections or even explore other alternatives of dental movements.
Once supplemented and satisfactory simulation, the doctor re-examines his patient in order to subject to him the simulation of its future invisalign treatment. The patient will be able to observe, stage by stage, the movement of his teeth.

After the final approval of the CLINCHECK, a series of personalized aligners are manufactured and handing-over with the patient who will carry them per two weeks period. At each 6 weeks (with each 3 aligners), the patient has to be re-examine by his dentist. Week after week, the patient will be able to see his teeth moving.
